Tropical Storm Laura Update

8/23/20 - 4pm: Tropical Storm Laura continues to track WNW at a fast speed and also continues to slowly strengthen. It’s proximity to land has not hampered it much. Laura is expected to become a hurricane behind Marco in the Gulf of Mexico by Wednesday, and may have landfall by Wednesday afternoon or evening. We may have greater impacts in the Tennessee Valley if this track holds. We will have much more on Laura this week here and on our 24/7 digital weather channel. Stay with us!
