Wet weather is on the way to the region as a storm system rolls into the area this evening. While we aren't expecting any severe weather, areas of moderate to a few pockets of heavy rain will bring an average of an inch of rain to the Tennessee Valley beginning this afternoon through early Monday.
Good news is that this round of rain will only last a few hours and will move past our coverage area by tomorrow therefore our skies will clear as we enter into brief period of pleasant, but cooler weather. Highs Monday will be in the mid-40s with lows Tuesday Morning dipping back into the mid-20s.
Sunshine will giveaway to clouds and another shower chance Tuesday evening into Wednesday. Skies will clear again to close the work week before yet another unsettled patten aims to shape up for the upcoming weekend.
We'll keep you advised on how this evening will evolve as needed. Have a blessed Sunday.
