Question...? Will there be another cool-down after our next rain chance?
Who else is thrilled about the warmer weather? Yes, warmer is a relative term here, but we'll be back in the 70s by Friday. Tonight will be another chilly one with temperatures in the 50s this evening, falling to the upper 30s by tomorrow morning. Finally above the freezing mark!
This weekend is looking nothing short of fantastic. Temps in the mid 70s, a slight breeze, and plenty of sunshine. What more could we ask for? I know, we still could use some rain. But at least any outdoor plans will be weather worry-free.

Our next rain chance comes late Tuesday into Wednesday. A cold front will bring a line of showers and a few thunderstorms through the Tennessee Valley. Some parts of the region could rack up to half an inch of rain. It would be small dent in the bucket, but we'll take what we can get. We are not talking about a severe threat, but we are monitoring for changes should that happen.
Until Tuesday, we stay bone dry while gradually warming up to the mid 70s for afternoon highs. Temps will crash behind the cold front, dropping highs back down into the mid 60s. We could see a few lingering showers Wednesday especially in the morning, but sunshine will return by Wednesday afternoon with a breezy wind out of the north keeping us cool.

P.S. happy Midnights for all Taylor Swift fans who celebrate.
