NASA Releases Artemis I Flight Map

As we get closer to launch, get familiar with the Artemis I flight map! NASA's Artemis I will be the test flight of the Space Launch System and NASA’s Orion Spacecraft.

During this flight, the uncrewed spacecraft will launch on the powerful SLS rocket and travel thousands of miles beyond the Moon, farther than any spacecraft built for humans has ever flown. Artemis I is slated to launch from Kennedy Space Center's LC-39B no sooner than August 29, 2022. Artemis II will be the first flight to ferry humans back to Moon in a lunar flyby since Apollo 17 in 1972. This flight is slated to occur on or after May 2024.
