May 28, 2020 Severe Weather Timeline

Here is a rough overall timeline for the potential for strong storms across the area this afternoon and evening. Please remember that these will be scattered and not everyone will see a strong storm.

There may even be a few of you that see very little in the way of rain later today. However, where storms do form, a few of them could produce wind gusts of up to 60-70 mph and hail to the size of quarters. The tornado threat today is extremely low (but it is never completely zero if there is a severe thunderstorm).

(Note: The colored areas represent times, not intensity of threat levels. The entire coverage area has a risk of strong storms later today.)
