Marco Now A Hurricane

Marco has now strengthened into a Category 1 Hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 75mph, with higher gusts. Marco continues to move NNW toward the SE Louisiana coast with landfall expected Monday afternoon or evening. We don’t expect major impacts locally from Marco through Monday. A few showers will be possible on Tuesday from this system.
