Lower Severe Storm Risk Expected Today

The early morning update from the Storm Prediction Center has removed the risk of severe weather for all of the Tennessee Valley Weather coverage area.

Showers and thunderstorms are still expected at times for your Friday, but it's looking more and more like any focus for severe storms will remain away from out area.

We will still watch the situation vigilantly through the day and will be ready in case there are any changes, but things are looking a bit better for all of our area.
