Tornado Emergency (Central AL)
This is a life-threatening emergency for the areas outlined in this warning. For additional info, the stations I know of in Birmingham:

If you can, get into an underground shelter for this one. If you are well ahead of this storm like . . . they're even warning for Gadsden, well ahead of where the tornado is right now . . . might consider going to a public shelter if you know one is open - can call your local EMA for info on that.
Main threat right now (4:25) is Odenville/Springville and points east/northeast in St. Clair County. Going to try to look up the other local live streams now.
4:27 - Ok here we go.

Now, that last one, I did not see a live stream, but they may put one up soon . . . don't know. Just take your pick. I will say that ABC 33/40 has never let me down and is usually my personal preference when things are very serious.
4:32 - Sounds like some rough damage occurred in Trussville and Center Point. If in the path of this, get to an underground shelter if possible. If not, get into a small interior room/hallway on the lowest floor of a sturdy structure - do not stay in a mobile home. If you have no shelter, as a VERY last resort, find a ditch or other low spot and cover your head with your hands. Wherever you take shelter - cover your head. This seems like a strong tornado, based on consistent damage reports and a consistent radar signature. Even the Weather Channel is all over this. Some people are trapped from where this tornado has gone before.
4:35 - Ashville looks like the next town in the direct path. Not to neglect us in the TN Valley, but this is probably one of those tornadoes people will remember for years to come. (Ugh.) For the Tennessee Valley, nothing is severe right now except for rather widespread flash flooding. If you possibly can, stay off the roads. When driving to work this morning, take it slow and be very, very careful. Never cross water that covers the road!
