Quick Note

Not going to be blogging on the Clanton/Childersburg tornado, but I'll be passing along stuff on Twitter.

Severe threat is basically over for us in the TN Valley, and tornado watch expires in 30 minutes. Only valid for northeast counties anyway, and odds are nothing is going to develop there. Still won't say "all clear" until it expires, just to be on the safe side. I guess we lucked out up here, but man, our neighbors just to the south . . . this is a bit heartbreaking, to be honest. Widespread damage, people trapped . . . you know the drill. One of those tornado events that will be remembered. Ugh.
